My son and his friends are all turning 7 this year. One of his friends, Zachary, had a birthday this week and his birthday party was today. When I asked his mom what he wanted for his birthday, she mentioned that he would like cash to put toward a new baseball bat. That worked for me, but I didn’t want to just put it in an envelope, as he’s still kind of little. I wanted to come up with a fun, colorful way to give it to him! So I cut some letters out of some old paper I had and made this poster, then adhered rolled up one dollar bills to it. I then rolled up the whole thing and tied it with a bright green ribbon, put it in a bag, and gave it to him. He loved it! 🙂
While not all of the products used on this are from Stampin’ Up!, many are. I have listed them below.
Stampin’ Up! products used on this include:
Pick a Pattern Washi Tape (wrapped around the bills)
Daffodil Delight Cardstock (for the stars)
Wood Crate Framelits Dies (to cut the stars)
Mini Glue Dots (to adhere the rolled bills to the poster)
Snail Adhesive (to adhere the letters and stars to the poster)
This was a fun way to give a gift that is normally just placed inside a card or envelope! Just something a little different!
Thanks for stopping by!
