Beautiful Peacock Congratulations Card

I received this gorgeous Congratulations card last week in the mail from my amazingly talented upline, Sarah Wills!  Sarah’s cards are always so beautiful, and she always puts together colors that look so striking together!  I love the color combo she chose for this card!  The colors are as follows:

This card features the Beautiful Peacock stamp set, which can be earned for FREE with a $50 purchase (before tax and shipping) during Sale-a-Bration!  Sarah created multiple layers of the peacock by cutting them out separately and mounting them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Other products she used to add detail to this card include: Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder; Stitched Shapes and Layering Circles Framelits; Lemon Lime Twist 3/8 Inch Mini Striped Ribbon; and Silver Baker’s Twine.  Here’s a close up of the peacock:

As mentioned above, the Beautiful Peacock stamp set is available as a FREE Sale-a-Bration item, and is ONLY available with a purchase of $50 or more (before tax and shipping)!  It is a photopolymer stamp set and includes 12 stamps.  It’s a two step stampin’ set too!  Here’s a pic of the whole set:

While the stamps are all designed to work together, and definitely focus on building the peacock, many of them can be used alone as well.  The two tail stamps can be used as simple flourishes, the polka dots and flower stamps can be used as background stamps and accents, and of course, the sentiments can be mixed and matched with lots of other sets!  This is a very versatile set!

But this set is only available until March 31st!  And again, it’s only available as a FREE Sale-a-Bration item!  (This set cannot be purchased, only earned with a qualifying order!)

You can find out more information about this gorgeous set HERE.

I always love the cards that Sarah sends me!  Each one is so different and unique, and this one is no exception. I always know when I see an envelope from her in my mailbox that it contains something special! 🙂

I hope you like Sarah’s card as much as I do!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Want extra freebies during Sale-a-Bration?

We all know that Sale-a-Bration is a great time of year to order!  You already get a free item for every $50 you spend (before tax and shipping) with no limits on have many extras you can earn and no limits on how many orders you can earn them on!  Have you seen the choices this year?  They are fabulous!  Choices of free items include stamp sets, Designer Series Paper, note card sets, ribbon, and more!  Check them out!

And this year, there’s a new reward level!  Spend $100 and you get to choose either two $50 reward items OR one $100 item!  This is new this year, but it definitely gives you more options when selecting your rewards!

But what if I told you that if you order through me between 2/1 and 2/7 you’ll get even MORE rewards?  Every year I run a Sale-a-Bration special where anyone who places an order of $50 or more (before tax and shipping) not only gets their regular rewards from Stampin’ Up!, but also gets EXTRA rewards from me!  Here’s how it works:

  • Contact me via email between 2/1-2/7 with you order.  Orders must total at least $50 before tax and shipping to qualify.
  • The first ten people to order will get to participate.
  • Once I receive everyone’s order, I will place everything together as ONE LARGE ORDER.  This will earn a larger amount of rewards than what would normally be earned on the individual orders.  The extra rewards will then be shared among everyone who participates!
  • Orders will be shipped to me and will then be delivered/shipped to you once I receive them.

It’s super easy!  Last year, everyone who participated got an extra Sale-a-Bration item and $20 in Stampin’ Rewards to spend!  That was in addition to anything their order had already earned!  It was a great deal for everyone who participated!

Here’s the fine print:

Orders must be placed directly through me via email.  Orders placed in my online store do not qualify.

You must reside in the United States to be able to participate, as I can only ship within the US.

Payment must be made prior to me placing the order.  PayPal is preferred, but I am happy to accept other forms of payment as well!

Once I received everyone’s order, I will total the whole thing and contact everyone to let you know how many extra items and rewards dollars you get.  I will then need you to get back to me within three days with the extra choices so I can place the final order.  Once I have everyone’s payment, the order will be placed!

If you have been thinking of ordering, this is a great time to do so!  Everyone loves a great deal, and this is definitely one you don’t want to miss!  Visit the Online Store to browse and make your list!  Then contact me to order no later than February 7th.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact me!  You can click the “contact me” tab above, or email me directly at nicollebelesimo@gmail.com.

This offer is available to anyone who wants to participate, whether you are already an established customer or new to me!  I would love to be your demonstrator!  🙂

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!  Please contact me with questions!

birthday gift tags made with the myths & magic suite (2nd set)

A couple of weeks ago, I made a set of three gift tags using the Magical Day bundle.  The tags were inspired by my boys, and featured the dragon, wizard, and knight.  Here’s a pic of what they looked like:

They were so fun to make, that I wanted to make another set using the rest of the stamps in the set!  This new set was inspired by my niece, who loves unicorns and all things pink and purple!  I made them to coordinate with the original set, and used many of the same products to make them.  I used the same paper, as well as Stampin’ Blends to color them (mostly).  I trimmed them with the Magical Mates Framelits, and arranged everything on the tags the same way, even using the same sentiment stamp.  I just switched up the colors and ribbon!  Here’s a close up of each of the tags:

As in the first set, I added Wink of Stella to each tag to give them each a little shimmer and shine!  (I’ll admit, I added a little more to this set to make them extra sparkly!)  This time, I added it to the dragon’s body, the mermaid’s body, and the unicorn’s mane, tail, and horn.  I love how the Wink of Stella gives them just enough shimmer to be pretty without the glitter being overwhelming!  And it doesn’t make a huge mess, which is an added bonus!  You just brush it on and it stays put!

The backgrounds of each tag were stamped with stars and bubbles from the Magical Day set in Versamark ink, and I embellished with some die cut stars cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  Each tag was topped using a different color of In Color 1/2 Inch Finely Woven Ribbon, and is also tied with a Silver Baker’s Twine bow.  I love how they came out!

Here’s all six tags together:

Don’t forget, the Magical Day bundle includes both the Magical Day stamp set, as well as the Magical Mates Framelits and is discounted 10% off the price of both items individually!

I hope you like these tags as much as I do!  Thanks for stopping by today!

How to make shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day crafts

Who says hearts are only for Valentine’s Day and weddings?  Here’s a quick tip for making shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day using HEARTS!  Cut three hearts and a small straight piece of cardstock for the stem, then put them together as shown above to make a shamrock!  Super easy!

Last night I was putting together a St. Patrick’s Day banner for a class I am doing this weekend.  I have a group of friends who all have fireplaces and love to decorate their mantels for all the different holidays thoughout the year.  So we have gotten together a few times over the past year to make a bunch of different banners.  So far, we’ve made Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day ones.  This weekend, we are doing St. Patrick’s Day and Easter!

For these shamrocks, I used the smallest heart die from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits.  I cut three hearts from the green Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper, as well as a smaller piece for the stem.  I used a die from the Bouquet Bunch Framelits for the stem, but it would be really easy to cut one freehand if you don’t have the dies!  I then arranged them as above and glued them down.  That’s it!  For these, I used the Multipurpose Glue, but I think from now on, I’ll use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets! So easy, and with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits set, you can make shamrocks in a bunch of different sizes that range from small to large!  There are also two different styles of hearts in the set.  One is a more simple and straight style, and the other is more curvy.  You can use either, depending on your preference for how your want your final shamrock to look!  I used the straighter style for mine.

These dies are available in the online store and are used with the Big Shot!  This is a great item to have on hand for lots of different occasions’ crafts!

Thank you for visiting today!  Hope you have a great day!

Rustic Valentine’s Day Mini Note Cards

Today’s project is a set of three mini Valentine’s cards inspired by German Demonstrator Sylwia Schreck.  Each measures 3 x 3 inches, and has a very simple design!  The background of each is a different pattern from the Wood Textures 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, which is available in the Annual Catalog.  The hearts and leaves are from the Sure Do Love You stamp set, and were all cut out on the Big Shot with dies from the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies!  Both of these items coordinate perfectly, and can be purchased as a bundle for a savings of 10%. The bundle can be found in the Occasions Catalog!

Each heart and leaf combo is set against a small square made using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Each heart is also stamped in a different color ink!  For these, I used Berry Burst, Melon Mambo, and Real Red.  I also applied the hearts with dimensionals to add some extra detail and make them pop a little!

After I finished these, I thought for a bit about adding some additional embellishments, but I decided against it.  I love their simplicity, and thought they looked best as is  These little notes fit perfectly in Stampin’ Up’s  3 x 3 Whisper White envelopes, and would be perfect to tuck into lunch boxes, or for use as gift tags!

Floral Thank You Card with Products from THREE Catalogs!

Today’s card features products from the Annual Catalog and Occasions Catalog, as well as two carryover products from the Holiday Catalog!  The floral strip is from the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper (Occasions), the sentiment and leaves behind it are from the Painted Autumn Suite (Holiday), and the little flowers are cut from a die in the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits (Annual).  While only the Annual and Occasions Catalog are current right now, the Painted Autumn items are still available in the Holiday Favorites section of the online store!  Colors for this card are as follows:

I also added a silver Metallic Foil Doily, as well as silver Metallic Enamel shapes to the centers of the flowers for a bit of shine!
I like the simple layout of this card, and the colors remind me of Spring!  Yesterday my kids had yet another snow day (it’s probably the 5th or 6th one this year!)  What was forecasted to be a “dusting to an inch” of snow ended up being 6-7 inches!  And while we had fun and the snow is really pretty, I am definitely looking forward to warmer temps and flowers this spring!  🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Enjoy your day!
