Color Fusers Blog Hop for October 2019

It’s time for our Color Fusers Blog Hop for October! This month we have a pretty autumn-esque color combo to share. All of our projects feature Grapefruit Grove, Terracotta Tile, Cajun Craze, and Basic Black.

For my project this month, I decided to create a woodland themed Welcome Little One card. It features the Nature’s Beauty and Animal Outing stamp sets. The background is sponged with Grapefruit Grove and Terracotta Tile ink, and the fox is colored with Cajun Craze and Ivory Stampin’ Blends markers. I also used the Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter to lighten the color on the front of the fox a little. The sentiment is stamped in Basic Black.

Measurements for this card are as follows:

Basic Black cardstock base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)

Crumb Cake Middle Layer: 3-7/8 x 5-1/4 inches

Very Vanilla top layer: 3-3/4 x 5-1/8 inches

To add extra detail, I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies on the top layer, as well as added some Linen Thread and Gold Metallic Pearls to finish it off!

The Nature’s Beauty stamp set is available in this year’s Annual Catalog, and will be available through the end of May 2020. Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 for every Nature’s Beauty stamp set sold to Mental Health Awareness organizations. Not only is this stamp set gorgeous, it also helps support a great cause!
