It’s finally SPRING! Here in CT, the snow has finally melted and the birds are finally singing. A handful of 60+ degree days, and we’ve already begun the daily battle of my boys wanting to wear shorts to school! But I digress…
Today, we have the very talented Sarah Edwards joining us as our Guest Designer for 3D Thursday! Sarah has created this very cute Classic Label Tie Box, using items from the Well Suited Suite:
I just love the colors and patterns that Sarah used for her project! Here’s a view of her project from the side:
The finished box measures approximately 4 to 4-1/2 inches square. Colors that Sarah used include Pacific Point, Basic Black, Night of Navy, and Basic White. This is such a perfect little gift box! Switch up the colors and design on the top for any occasion you wish!

Thanks for stopping by today! Please check back next week for an all new project!
Happy March! Spring is right around the corner (thank goodness) and 2021 is shaping up to be a much better year than 2020 was, that’s for sure! It’s time for our March 2021 Color Fusers Blog Hop, and we’ve got a very pretty combination of Seaside Spray, Gray Granite, and Early Espresso to share this month:
My card this month features the Treasured Medallion stamp set. This set can be purchased alone, or as a bundle with the Many Medallions Dies (which will save you 10% over purchasing the stamps and dies alone!) This set is SO pretty, and can be used for pretty much any occasion!
To make my card, I used Thick Basic White cardstock as my base. I used regular Basic White as my top layer, and stamped two medallions in full strength Seaside Spray ink, then switched to Gray Granite, but stamped it off to make it a little lighter. Once all of the medallions were stamped, I layered it on top of Early Espresso cardstock. I then wrapped a piece of Gray Granite 1/4 inch Shimmer Ribbon around the layers and secured it to the back. I stamped my sentiment onto a small piece of Seaside Spray cardstock, and embossed it with the Scripty Embossing Folder. I then used the Messages Die to cut out the sentiment, and stamped the small flourish next to it in Seaside Spray ink.
Before mounting the sentiment piece, I made a figure 8 with the ribbon and trimmed the tail pieces on both ends. I secured the ribbon to the back with a small piece of tape, and mounted the whole thing to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally, I added some Opal Rounds to the centers of the medallions, and my card was complete!
Measurements for this card are as follows:
Thick Basic White cardstock base: 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)
Early Espresso cardstock middle layer: 3-3/4 x 5 inches
Basic White cardstock top layer: 3-5/8 x 4-7/8 inches
Seaside Spray sentiment piece: approximately 3/4 x 2 inches

This week, we have Guest Designer Diane Lethbridge joining us for 3D Thursday! Diane has created some gift tins using products from the Fine Art Floral Suite. Take a look at how pretty her project is:
These would be perfect for giving so many different gifts! And they can be decorated and switched up for any occasion or holiday just by using different paper and embellishments! I’m not sure where Diane got her tins, but I know I’ve seen them at the dollar store. (And you get 4 in one package with lid inserts!) This is such a versatile project!
If you would like to learn more about Diane’s project and/or make your own, you can download her FREE project sheet HERE or by clicking the image below:
Thank you for stopping by today! Please check back next week for another fun 3D project!
This week, we have Guest Designer Tammy Shaia from Be Creative Stamping joining us for 3D Thursday! Tammy has used the NEW Hey Chick Bundle to create this adorable Cookie Treat Holder:
If you have been a Stampin’ Up! customer for a while, then you may remember the Hey Chick stamp set from 2017’s Sale-a-Bration. It was a stamp set that was available for free with a $50 purchase, and it is one of the most popular Sale-a-Bration items in Stampin’ Up! history! It was so popular, that Stampin’ Up! decided to bring it back for purchase, and even created coordinating cutting dies to go with it! (And there’s another bundle called Hey Birthday Chick with coordinating dies that goes really well with it too!) You can see both bundles HERE.
But getting back to Tammy’s project….in addition to her Hey Chick Cookie Holder, Tammy made a second version of her project, using the new Sweet Strawberry Bundle:
This is such a versatile project that can be made for any occasion just by switching up colors, papers, and embellishments! I really love it!
You can make your own version of Tammy’s project by downloading and printing her FREE project sheet HERE. You can also click on the image below to open the sheet!
I hope you have enjoyed this week’s 3D Thursday project. Please check back next week for another fun project!
Happy February! And welcome to our Color Fusers blog hop for this month. It is a freezing cold day here in CT, and we are about to get 7-14 inches of snow dumped on us over the next 24 hours. I am trying to get this blog post done and posted before we lose our power and/or internet. I live in a very rural area, and it’s pretty much a given any time we have a big storm! Hopefully, it won’t be too bad!
Our color combo for this month’s hop is a bright and fun combo of Gorgeous Grape, Magenta Madness, and Bermuda Bay. I love to pair brights with black and white, as I feel it really makes the colors pop! So here is what I came up with for this month:
This project features the new Vine Design Bundle, which can be found on page 62 of the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog. To make this card, I used watercolor paper and my Water Painters to make a watercolor wash with all three of this month’s colors. (Of course, I didn’t think to take a picture of it before I dried and cut it. Sorry!) I took a 3-1/2 by 5 inch piece of the water color paper and brushed on the colors so it looked like diagonal stripes across the paper. I used my Heat Tool to speed up the drying process, then cut it with the large round die from the Flowering Vines Dies. Before cutting, I applied an Adhesive Sheet to the back of the paper. This in essence created a sticker from the die cut, so that when I was ready to mount it to the card, I just had the peel the backing off and apply. I LOVE the adhesive sheets! They are truly a Godsend to someone like me who makes a HUGE mess with glue (no matter how careful I am!)
Once the die cut was mounted to the white layer, I layered that onto a layer of Bermuda Bay cardstock and wrapped both with a piece of Gorgeous Grape 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon. I then heat embossed the Hello sentiment onto Basic Black cardstock, and cut it with the Double Oval Punch. I mounted the ribbon wrapped layers onto a Basic Black cardstock base, cut a second smaller piece of ribbon and created a simple knot close to the sentiment piece. My sentiment was mounted with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then added some Opal Rounds, mounted an inside white layer, and my card was complete! It’s a simple design this month, but I love how it came out!
Measurements for this card are as follows:
Basic Black cardstock base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)
Bermuda Bay cardstock middle layer: 4 x 5-1/4 inches
Basic White cardstock top layer: 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 inches
Floral Die Cut diameter: 3-1/8 inches
Black Sentiment Oval: 15/16 x 1-13/16 inches
The Vine Design Bundle is available as a bundle, and purchasing them as such will save you 10% off the price of purchasing the stamps and dies separately. (Of course they are also available separately as well, if you’re only looking for one or the other!) You can find ordering info for these, and all of the supplies I used for this card, at the bottom of today’s post!
Please continue onto the next stop on our hop this month, which is Melanie Hockin’s page! You won’t want to miss what she has created!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

It’s Thursday! And that means, it’s time for another 3D Thursday project! This week, we have a beautiful butterfly themed wall hanging by Debbie Henderson. She has used items from the Art Gallery Suite to create this stunning project:
Isn’t it so pretty? I love the colors Debbie used as well! The Purple Posy for the butterflies looks so great against the reds and yellows of the flowers. Debbie also used the new Gilded Leafing to add some shine to her project. I have not tried it yet, as honestly, I’m a little intimidated by it (lol), but I have seen some really beautiful projects made with it. I really need to pull mine out and give it a try! Here’s an up close look at the detail the leafing adds to Debbie’s project:

It’s time for our first Color Fuser’s Blog Hop of 2021! We are starting off the new year with a really pretty combination of Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Garden Green, and Pacific Point. I hope you will hop through our whole team’s pages to see what everyone has created this month with this gorgeous color combo!
For my project, I used the NEW Forever & Always Bundle, which will be available on January 5th! This bundle combines gorgeous florals with large, flowing script, as well as some small, but bold sentiments. To make the flowers, I used the baby wipe technique to combine some Melon Mambo and Mango Melody inks. I took a baby wipe, folded it in half, then in half again. I then made a circle with drops of ink from my Mango Melody reinker, and then added a few drops of Melon Mambo to the center. I spritzed it with a little water, and gave it a few minutes to spread and settle a bit. I used it to ink up the flower stamps and stamped them on Shimmery White cardstock. Once they were dry, I cut them out using the coordinating dies from the bundle and set them aside. I also stamped two sets of leaves in Garden Green ink, then used a Water Painter to VERY lightly watercolor them. Once they were dry, I set them aside as well.
I wanted to add a strip of green DSP below the flowers and behind the sentiment, but I couldn’t find a Garden Green piece that I liked for this card, so I made one myself. I took a piece of Shimmery White cardstock, then used one of the new Blending Brushes to color it with some Garden Green ink. I then used a stamp from the Inspiring Iris stamp set, stamped it a few times on the blended green in Versamark ink, and heat embossed it in white embossing powder.
I stamped the Love sentiment in Melon Mambo ink, and framed it with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I also spattered the top layer of the card with Pacific Point ink. Once all of my pieces were stamped and cut, I assembled the card.
Measurements for this card are as follows:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)
Melon Mambo middle layer: 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 inches
Shimmery White top layer: 3-3/4 x 5 inches
Shimmery White blended piece: 1-1/2 x 3 inches
Shimmery White piece for flowers/leaves: 3 x 4 inches
Shimmery Whote sentiment piece: 1-5/8 x 2-3/4 inches
To assemble the card, I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the layers and green background piece. I mounted the flowers, leaves, and sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the second part of the sentiment (YOU) in Mango Melody ink directly onto the card, and finished the card with a couple of NEW Opal Rounds and a little Wink of Stella in the flowers’ centers. Finally, I stamped a coordinating envelope, and my project for this month was complete!

Our full hope line up for this month is as follows:
Happy December! Can you believe this year is FINALLY almost over? I don’t know about you, but I am definitely ready for a better 2021! December is always crazy for me. In addition to the holiday craziness that everyone has, I also have BOTH of my boys’ birthdays! It’s a hectic, but fun month! 🙂
Today, the Color Fusers team has a beautiful combination of Pretty Peacock, Night of Navy, and Granny Apple Green to share! Greens and blues are my favorite colors. So when I saw this month’s combo, I was excited to get to creating! I decided to use an all new product suite called the Art Gallery Suite, which will be available in the NEW January – June Mini Catalog (the catalog formerly known as the “Occasions Catalog”). This suite features some gorgeous florals and simple sentiments that you are going to love!
For my card today, I used a Whisper White base, layered with Granny Apple Green and Night of Navy for the top. The top layer is embossed with a new 3D Embossing Folder called Painted Texture. To enhance the pattern of the folder, I first inked up the folder with VersaMark ink. Doing this applies the ink to the cardstock as it embossed, and gives a nice variation in color and texture throughout the finished piece!
To make this card, I used Thick Whisper White Cardstock as my base. I cut a piece 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches and folded it in half. I stamped paint spatters in the corners with a stamp from the Waterfront stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink. I cut the middle layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock, and the top layer of Night of Navy (measurements below). I then inked up the 3D Painted Texure Embossing Folder with VersaMark and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Once my layers were complete, I stamped my flower and sentiment:
My flower stem was stamped on the NEW Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper, which can be earned with a $50 purchase beginning January 5th! It’s hard to tell from the picture, but there is a nice variation in color on the paper behind the stamped stem and leaves. I originally stamped my flower on regular Whisper White cardstock, but then I decided that I wanted the flower to be similar to the stem in terms of having a variation in color. So I used the NEW Blending Brushes to apply Pretty Peacock ink to a piece of Whisper White cardstock, and blended the color until I got the color I was looking for:
I then stamped the flower in Pretty Peacock on top of the blended color, stamping it off once first. Then I stamped the top layer in full strength Pretty Peacock ink, and the center in Night of Navy:
Once the flower was complete, I cut it out using the coordinating Floral Gallery Dies. I then went over the center with a touch of Wink of Stella to accent it a bit!
I assembled the layers of the card, and decided to make them asymmetrical. I adhered the flower and then the sentiment, which was heat embossed in white Stampin’ Emboss powder, and cut with the small frame die from the Floral Gallery Dies. Both the flower and sentiment were applied with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished the card with some Elegant Faceted Gems colored with my Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Marker. Once the gems were applied, my card was complete! I tried a few different ribbons and twines to add a bow somewhere, but none of them looked right to me, so I decided to leave it off. Even though the layout is simple, there’s lots of detail added in other ways!
Measurements for this card are as follows:
Thick Whisper White Card base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)
Granny Apple Green cardstock middle layer: 3-3/4 x 5 inches
Night of Navy cardstock top layer: 3-3/4 x 5 inches
Oh so Ombre DSP stem piece: 2-1/2 x 2-1/4 inches
Pretty Peacock Floral piece: 2 x 2-1/4 inches
Pretty Peacock sentiment piece: 1/2 x 1-1/2 inches
I hope you have enjoyed my project today, and our hop so far! Please continue to the next stop, which is Brenda Nelson’s page!
