It’s a 3D Thursday Extravaganza!

Before I post even one more thing on this blog, I NEED to post all of the fabulous 3D Thursday projects that I got behind on posting. I owe each of these ladies a HUGE apology, as ALL of their projects are amazing, and I just got really far behind. I am really, really sorry! Please enjoy the following projects, even though they are late!

Tape Roll Jewelry Box: Rhonda Griffin

I LOVE projects that reuse/upcycle items that would normally be thrown away. This is such a clever way to use leftover tape rolls, and Rhonda Griffin’s little boxes are just stunning! Rhonda was a Guest Deigner for 3d Thursday in May, and for her project, she used items from the Fine Art Floral Suite. Butterfly Card in a Box: Debbie Henderson

This gorgeous project was created by 3D Thursday team member Debbie Henderson. Debbie LOVES butterflies, and often incorporates them into her projects. This is a 3D card in a box. Who wouldn’t love to receive this? Debbie’s project features the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and Hand Penned Suite, which are now available in the new Annual Catalog. Pineapple Treat Pouch: Jessica Brigden

Jessica Brigden was one of our Guest Designers in May, and she was also one of the demonstrators who earned the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Maui this year! The trip was held in May, and Jessica made this project for her swaps for the trip. It’s a little Pineapple Treat Pouch, and how perfect is this to bring on a trip to Hawaii? Jessica’s project features the In the Tropics Dies, as well as gorgeous bright and tropical colors! Trash to Treasure Clipboard: Twila Davis

Here was have another fun project that reuses materials that would normally be thrown away! This time, Twila Davis created a fun and useful little clipboard and matching pen. (I actually made one of these to keep on my kitchen counter for my shopping list. I LOVE it!) It would also make a great teacher gift, or craft fair item! Flower Basket 3D Card: Cathy Davenport

This gorgeous project was created by Guest Designer Cathy Davenport! She created a pretty floral 3D Pop Up card using products from the new Hand Penned Suite! I just love the colors she used on this project too. My favorite color is green, but I have been on a blue kick lately, and I LOVE how the blue and yellow look together on Cathy’s card! Flower Pot Treat Holder: Sarah Wills

Sarah Wills created this adorable sunflower themed treat holder using mini coffee cups and Sunflowers Dies. I love just love her Regals and Neutrals color scheme. It reminds me of fall and harvest time! Download Sarah’s FREE project sheet HERE for more info on her project, or click on the image below:

Seashell Lip Balm Holder: Sherri Everett

For the final project of this post, these awesome Seashell Lip Balm holders were created by Guest Designer Sherri Everett Bishop. These are SO cute, and would make a great gift or favor for a beach themed shower or wedding! Sherri used products from the Friends are Like Seashells Bundle to create these. She also found the seashell lip balms at Dollar Tree. For more info, click HERE or on the image below for Sherri’s FREE project sheet:

3D Thursday: Sunflower Seed Packet Favor

It’s my turn to create for 3D Thursday, and I have created a way to dress up seed packets for weddings, showers, and more! I was looking for something on Etsy last week, and a bunch of customized seed packet envelopes came up, which I thought was a great idea. So of course, I had to try to create one of my own. What do you think?

I’m really happy with how it came out. I used a bunch of NEW products from the new Annual Catalog, which just went live YESTERDAY! The envelope is made from the new In Good Taste Designer Series Paper; the belly band is made from Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper; the sunflower was made using the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle; and it also features one of our new In Colors for 2020-2022: Bumblebee!

The envelope was designed to be opened and closed without having to be sealed. I did not seal the flap on the envelope intentionally, so that it could be opened and closed without tearing. The belly band holds it closed when it’s on, which can easily be slipped on and off as needed. I included a packet of sunflower seeds to go with the sunflower theme of the project, but we have so many pretty flower stamps and dies in the new catalog, I can imagine making these with other types of flowers and seeds as well!

The measurements of my final project are as follows:

Finished envelope: 3-1/2 x 5-3/8 inches

Belly band: 3-9/16 across x 3-1/2 inches tall (just the front dimensions)

Sunflower: Approximately 3-1/4 inches in diameter

Sentiment piece: 3/4 x 3 inches

If you would like to make this project, please download my FREE project sheet HERE or by clicking on the image below. It includes step-by-step instructions (with all measurements), as well as a complete supply list!

I hope you have enjoyed my project! Thank you so much for stopping by!
