Only One More Week of Sale-a-Bration!

There is exactly ONE week left of Sale-a-Bration!  That means only one week left to earn Sale-a-Bration items on qualifying orders, and only one week left to earn EXTRA Stampin’ Rewards on qualifying orders as well!

So what does that mean?

Earn one free item from the Sale-a-Bration brochure for every $50 you spend (before tax and shipping) now through March 31st.  There are also a handful of bigger rewards you can choose from when you spend $100 or more!  You can visit the  Sale-a-Bration page of the online store HERE to check out all of the free items that can be earned during Sale-a-Bration.

You can also earn extra Stampin’ Rewards on qualifying orders as well!  Stampin’ Rewards are rewards dollars that can spent on anything you want from any current catalog or the online store.  During Sale-a-bration, you can earn an extra $25 in Stampin’ Rewards on orders or workshops/parties of $250 or more (before tax and shipping)!  Normally, an order of that size would earn $25 in rewards.  But during Sale-a-Bration it earns $50!  Here’s a chart that shows how Stampin’ Rewards work during Sale-a-Bration:

The more you spend, the more you earn!  Sale-a-Bration is a GREAT time to stock up on all of your consumables like cardstock, adhesives, envelopes, Designer Series paper, and more!  It adds up quickly, and so do the freebies.  But Sale-a-Bration only lasts until March 31st.  So take advantage of these offers while you can!

But wait, want an even better deal?

Would you like an even better deal that lasts far beyond the end of Sale-a-Bration?  Check this out:

During Sale-a-Bration, if you spend $100 (before tax and shipping), you get $100 worth of product and TWO Sale-a-Bration items for free (or one larger $100 item choice).  You also spend $10 on shipping.  But if you JOIN Stampin’ Up during Sale-a-Bration, you spend $99, you get $125 of product, any TWO additional stamp sets, and it ships to you for FREE!  Depending which stamp sets you choose, that can add up to another $101 in value to your kit!  You also get a free Paper Pumpkin kit (a $20 value) and a separate welcome gift from me ($25 in value), so your total value could be as much as $271, but you only pay $99 (plus tax)!  And again it ships for FREE!  Moving forward, you also get 20% off all future orders, which can bump up to 25% later.  And you can get all of this without ever selling to anyone or having any parties!  You can join and keep the discount just for yourself!  For more info about joining Stampin’ Up, please click the icon below, or click HERE for a list of Frequently Asked Questions about becoming a demonstrator during Sale-a-Bration.  I would love to welcome you to my team!  🙂

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy your weekend!

Springtime Foils and Beautiful Day Birthday Card PLUS NEW Sale-a-Bration Offerings

Thank you for checking in today!  It’s definitely been awhile since my last post!  Last Wednesday night, we had a huge snowstorm on the East Coast that knocked out my cable, internet, and phone for three days.  Then on Friday, I woke up with a little sniffle and chest congestion that ended up turning into four days sick in bed.  It was a pretty rough week!  Although everything is back up and running tech wise, I am still not feeling 100% better, though am at the point where I feel good enough to start posting again!  If you checked in while I was out, I apologize that there was nothing new for a bit!  Thanks so much for checking back!  🙂

Today’s card was made with the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper and Beautiful Day stamp set.  Early last week, I posted a card made with a different design of this paper, which I had colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  (See it HERE.)  For today’s card, I left the paper as is, and just added a gold foil layer, as well as a gold heat embossed sentiment.  I love the foil designs and accents of the paper, and think it’s elegant enough that it needs very little extra embellishment!  I think this card would also make a very pretty wedding card…the birthday sentiment would just have to be switched to a wedding one!

Don’t forget, the Springtime Foils Paper is only available with a $50 purchase (before tax and shipping) during Sale-a-Bration!  There’s only a couple of weeks left, so scoop this paper up while you have the chance!  The final day of Sale-a-Bration is March 31st!

Speaking of Sale-a-Bration, Stampin’ Up! just released a whole new set of items that can be earned for FREE between now and March 31st!  These are regular catalog items that can be earned with a $50-100 purchase!  The only catch is that you need to use the special Sale-a-Bration item numbers shown below to get them for free.  Using the regular catalog numbers will add them to your cart at the regular catalog price!  Check out the new items just added below:

To shop, please visit the online store HERE.

Here’s a last look at today’s card so you can see the shine of the paper and sentiment!  Isn’t that gold and silver just gorgeous?

Thanks again for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Coloring Springtime Foils Paper with Stampin’ Blends Markers

The Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper is one of three new rewards items, now available during Sale-a-bration!  It was released on February 16th, and can ONLY be earned with a $50 purchase (before tax and shipping) through March 31st!  This gorgeous new paper features 3 sheets each of 4 different foil designs on white paper, and measures 12 x 12 inches in size.  All of the designs are printed in silver, gold, and/or rose gold foil, giving a very elegant look to this paper!  Patterns include polka dots, florals, and stripes:

For today’s card, I used the second pattern shown in the picture above.  It features large roses and leaves in rose gold foil.  I colored the paper with Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers, and used both the light and dark versions of each color.  The paper is very thick, with an almost glossy finish, so the finished result of the blending is different than on regular paper, but is still very pretty!

Measurements for this card are as follows:

Thick Whisper White card base:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)

Basic Black middle layer:  4 x 5-1/4 inches

DSP Layer:  3-7/8 x 5-1/8 inches

Basic Black and Whisper White scraps for sentiment piece

I used a sentiment from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set, as well as the Pretty Label punch to frame it.  To make the backing layer of the sentiment, I cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock with the same punch and cut it in half lengthwise, then adhered it to the back of the stamped sentiment piece, slightly offset to look like a separate layer.  I also embellished the card with 3/8 inch Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon, as well as pearls colored with the dark Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends Marker to match the color of the flowers!

While I love the look of this paper with added color, it also looks great as is!  (You can find some gorgeous samples on Pinterest, or just by simply Googling “Stampin’ Up Springtime Foils Paper”.)  I will be posting another card later this week where I did not color the paper (though with a different pattern from the package).  I hope you’ll check back later this week to see it!

Remember, Sale-a-Bration is ending March 31st!  Once it’s over, this gorgeous paper will be gone for good!  To get yours, simply place an order of $50 or more in the online store before March 31st!

Thanks for checking in today!  Enjoy your day!

This kit is gorgeous, collectible, and is almost sure to go down in Paper Pumpkin history as an all-time customer favorite!

Promotion Details:

  • The free gift complements the kit but is not needed to complete the kit.
  • The free gift is exclusive to the March Paper Pumpkin kit and cannot be found anywhere else.

Check out this video about Paper Pumpkin!

And to make the deal even better, Sale-a-Bration is the perfect time to try Paper Pumpkin because prepaid subscriptions of 3 months or more earn Sale-a-Bration rewards!  Yes, that’s right!  Because prepaid subscriptions have item numbers and are ordered like any other catalog item, they are eligible for rewards, including Sale-a-Bration rewards!

If you would like to give Paper Pumpkin a try, but are not looking for a long term commitment, then I recommend a 3 month prepaid subscription.  Three months is a perfect trial subscription!  If at the end of the three months you wish to continue, you simply order another prepaid subscription to extend it, or switch to a month to month subscription.  If you decide you don’t wish to continue after the three months, your subscription simply ends, and you will not receive additional kits.

So what do you get with Paper Pumpkin?  Each month, a fully designed, pre-cut project arrives right in your mailbox with everything you need to create it, including stamps and ink!  Projects include mostly cards, but can also include gift packaging, home decor, and more!   To learn more about Paper Pumpkin and see examples of past kits, please click HERE.  Check out the pic below for an example of what’s in a typical kit. (Please note that this is a past kit, and is not the kit you will receive in March):

Amazing You and Celebrate You Thinlits Card

I just got back from five days in the Dominican Republic.  Such a beautiful country!  (But really bad internet!)  It was very nice to get away, but I am happy to be home.  Even if the temperature is 50 degrees colder here!  🙂

Today’s project was made with the Amazing You stamp set and Celebrate You Thinlits.  Both items are available for FREE with a qualifying purchase during Sale-a-Bration, and are designed to coordinate with each other perfectly!  You can get the stamp set with a $50 purchase, and the coordinating thinlits with a $100 purchase.  If you’d like BOTH, spend $150 before tax and shipping and get these two items PLUS $15 in Stampin’ Rewards (=FREE STUFF) as well!  That’s a great deal!

Besides the stamp set and thinlits, this card also features the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper colored with Stampin’ Blends.  The colors I used are Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Old Olive.  The DSP is layered with Cherry Cobbler cardstock and mounted with Stampin’ Dimensionals on a Basic Black card base.  The “celebrate” is cut from Silver Foil Sheets, as well as the three small dots, which I cut using a die from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.  For all of the die cuts, I applied a small piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the back of the silver foil before running it through the Big Shot.  When I was ready to apply to the card, I just peeled off the paper backing and adhered to the card.  The adhesive sheets make applying adhesive to die cuts very easy, as well as keeps them neat and clean!

Here’s a pic of what’s on the inside of this card:

The “amazing” is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and the “YOU” is stamped in Basic Black.  The card is finished with some Rhinestones for a little added sparkle and shine!

Thanks for checking in today!  Have a great day!

Max’s Party Pandas Valentine’s Day Cards

I love that I live in a small town that still allows holidays to be celebrated at school!  My older son, Luca, goes to kindergarten all day, and not only is his class celebrating Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, they are also celebrating the 100th day of school!  My little one, Max, goes to preschool and they are also having a little Valentine’s Day party.  His teachers have been making all sorts of fun stuff with them the past couple of weeks to get ready!  They made little mailboxes and mailbags with the kids, and they have asked the parents to send in Valentine’s cards for each student.  They will each get to put their cards in their mailbags and hand deliver their cards to their friends’ mailboxes.  Max, who is 3, is pretty excited about his mailbox and bag!  He has dragged me over to show me pretty much every day for the last week when I pick him up!  Then he gets upset because we can’t take them home yet.  But again, he’s 3!  🙂

Anyway, I needed some Valentine’s cards for both of my boys’ classes.  Luca wanted Minions cards and he has a much bigger class, so we went with store bought ones.  (I know, gasp!)  I probably could’ve made punch art Minions, but that would’ve been really time consuming, and I just didn’t have time.  So for his class, store bought ones will have to do!

For my little one though, I definitely wanted to make cards!  But since they are being given to a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds, I also didn’t want to spend too much time or money on them!  Chances are, they’re going to get eaten not going to last too long anyway!  So I needed to come up with something cute, but very simple and easy to put together.  I hadn’t used my Party Pandas set, so I decided to go with that!

The cards I made are note card size, so they measure 3-1/2 x 5 inches in size.  They are one flat panel, so they don’t open and close.  The base layer is Basic Black, the middle layer is Real Red, and the top is Whisper White.  I stamped the panda in Basic Black Archival Ink, and the sentiment in Real Red.  For these, I cut a heart with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits and placed it over the balloon to make it look like a heart shaped balloon instead of the regular stamped one.  The hearts were cut out of Flirty Flamingo card stock.  Also, the sentiment stamp is from a retired Valentine’s themed Paper Pumpkin kit.

I was originally going to make a few different ones so that I could use all three of the pandas in the set, but then I decided to just make them all the same.  I only had to make 10, so making them all the same allowed me to make them very quickly.  I think it only took me about 45 minutes to make all ten, start to finish!  I think they came out super cute, and are perfect for little ones!

The Party Pandas set can be earned with a $50 purchase (before tax and shipping), but only until March 31st!  It is one of the $50 item choices from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.  To learn more about Sale-a-Bration, and see all the free item choices, please click HERE!

UPDATED TO ADD:  After I dropped off my kids at school this morning, I ran to Target to try to find envelopes that would fit these cards.  Not only did I find a pack of 50 envelopes in the correct size on clearance for $0.86 (yes, 86 CENTS!), I also came upon a package of 14 sheets each of these adorable panda stickers and heart stickers!  How cute are these?  And what are the odds of finding PANDA stickers to match the cards?  So I bought them and slipped a sheet of each into each envelope with the cards for Max’s classmates!  I also decided at the last second to stamp each envelope with some hearts from the Heart Happiness set!  Now I am waiting for Luca to get home so I can do his cards with him!  But since his cards are store bought, they’re not going to be as fun!  I’ll still at least stamp the envelope though!  😉

Contact me with questions!  Thanks for stopping by!
