This week, we have Guest Designer Tami Hewlett joining us for 3D Thursday! She has created this beautiful decorated Mini Paper Pumpkin Box, using NEW products from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog!
Besides the Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes, Tami’s project features the new Blossoms in Bloom Bundle, Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper, Flowers for Every Season 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, and two new In Colors: Bumblebee and Magenta Madness!
The Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes are the perfect size for notecard sized cards (3-1/2 x 5 inches). They are also food safe, so they are also perfect for packaging tasty treats! AND, they also perfectly hold a Classic Stampin’ Pad and reinker. Such a great gift for a fellow stamper!

Thanks so much for visiting today! Enjoy your day!
Happy June, Everyone! What a great way to start off the month, with a Color Fusers blog hop, a gorgeous color combo, and products from the NEW Annual Catalog, which goes live in only TWO days! Our color combo today is a very pretty combination of Petal Pink, Melon Mambo, and Pool Party!
My project today features (mostly) products from the new catalog. The background images were created with stamps from the new Forever Fern set. The sentiment is from the new Lovely You stamp set, and is heat embossed in white on Basic Black card stock. I also used new ribbon and embellishments, which I will get to in just a bit! For now, here’s a sneak peek at the two stamp sets I used:
When making this card, I really wanted to use Melon Mambo ribbon, but I do not currently have any in my stash. So I used some of the new White Faux Linen Ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and dyed it with my Melon Mambo ink refill. It was really easy to do! I used a small clear plastic cup, added about 1/2 inch of water, 10 drops of ink, and a splash of isopropyl alcohol. After stirring it well, I submerged the ribbon and let it sit for 10 minutes or so, then removed it and laid it flat on a paper towel. I used the paper towel to blot as much of the water out as possible, then dried it the rest of the way with my hair dryer. The ribbon held the color really well. Next time, I think I will leave it in longer to see if I can get a deeper color, but even the lighter pink coordinates well, as it’s just a lighter shade of Melon Mambo!
In addition to the leaves, I also stamped some small splatters all over the background in Petal Pink ink. The splatter stamp is also from the Forever Fern set. And the droplet embellishments are from the NEW Flowers for Every Season Gems. They are not adhesive backed, so I just used a very small dab of glue and placed them with my Take Your Pick Tool.
Measurements for this card are as follows:
Thick Whisper White card stock card base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)
Pool Party card stock middle layer: 4 x 5-1/4 inches
Whisper White card stock top layer: 3-3/4 x 5 inches
Basic Black card stock sentiment piece: 1-1/8 x 2-1/4 inches
Although this card is made with mostly new products, there is still time to get your favorite retiring products! But you only have until tomorrow night to get them! Click HERE to shop the Last Chance Products section of my online store, and stock up on your favorites before they are gone for good!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Next up is Tami Hewlett, who always has something beautiful to share!
Debbie Henderson is our designer today for 3D Thursday, and she has created this sweet treat box, which features NEW colors for 2020! The new catalog has been released to demonstrators, and we’ve seen the new colors for 2020-2022. They are SO pretty! Debbie has featured two of them in her project today. They are called Bumblebee and Magenta Madness!
Debbie also used some other products from the new catalog, including Designer Series Paper, cutting dies, and embellishments. Her project is a great sample of new colors and products that will ALL be available June 3rd!
Here’s a nice close up of the new In Color ribbon and colors:

Today’s card features the Seasonal Wreath Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder! This folder is actually available in the Annual Catalog, and as been available since June 1st. This is the first time I’ve had a chance to use it though! Here’s a peek at the folder:
When using this folder, the wreath really ends up being the centerpiece of your card! The wreath itself measures approximately 3-5/8 in diameter, so it takes up a large amount of space on the card. It is so elegant though, and makes really beautiful cards, even completely by itself! For my card today, I dressed up the wreath a bit by applying the NEW Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint with a sponge dauber. After it dried, I went over some of the smaller leaves in the wreath with my Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Marker to add a bit of color as well!
I also used my Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends marker to color some Whisper White 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon, as well as rhinestones. I LOVE using my Stampin’ Blends to make matching embellishments for projects! They work great on ribbon, rhinestones, pearls, and more!
The sentiment I used is from the new Merry Christmas to all stamp set. This set is so versatile for the holidays! It includes 28 photopolymer stamps that can be mixed and matched to make many, many different greetings! The Merry and Christmas are actually two different stamps that I placed next to each other on a clear block to make one sentiment. There are also some script sentiments as well! Take a look at the full set below:
This set will be available on September 5th when the Holiday Catalog goes live. It can be purchased alone or as part of the Merry Christmas to All Bundle. You can find these items on page 5 of the new catalog!
Measurements for this card are as follows:
Tranquil Tide card stock base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)
Gold Foil Sheet middle layer: 4 x 5-1/4 inches
Whisper White card stock top layer: 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 inches
I hope you like my card today! Please let me know if you have any questions! If you need a copy of the new Holiday Catalog, please let me know, and I will get one out to you right away!
Welcome to Day 2 of my CASE the catty week! Before I get to today’s card, I decided that, for at least the next couple of months, I will share Christmas cards only on Mondays. Now that I got my first order of Holiday Catalog goodies, all I want to make is Christmas cards, but I also want to pace myself and not go overboard, as it’s still summer! LOL! So posting them only on Mondays will help keep that in check (hopefully)! 🙂
My card today is based on a sample on page 100 of the catalog:
Believe it or not, my card is based on the bottom card in this picture. When I first started making it, I had a very different idea in my head of what I wanted the final card to look like. As I continued to create it and made changes as I went along, it began to look less and less like the original sample! Other than the plaid backgrounds, there’s not too much left in common between these cards, though I’m still very pleased with how my final card came out!
Most of the products used on this card are from the new Holiday Catalog! The plaid background paper is from a new DSP called the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper. The “Christmas” die cut and “Wishes” stamp are from a gorgeous new bundle called the Merry Christmas to All Bundle. I also used a new trim called the 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim. Other products include the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Twinkle Builder Punch, which I used to cut out the stars!
Measurements for this card are as follows:
Mossy Meadow card base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)
Cherry Cobbler middle layer: 4 x 5-1/4 inches
Plaid DSP layer: 3-3/4 x 5 inches
Very Vanilla stitched oval: 3-5/16 x 2-3/8 inches
Christmas die cut: 4-5/8 x 1-1/4 inches
Cherry Cobbler stars: approximately 1/4 inch
All of the Holiday Catalog products shown on this project will be available beginning September 5th! I have the new catalogs in hand and will be shipping them out to my customers by the end of this week. If you would like a copy, and do not already have a demonstrator, please send me your name and address and I will put you on my list!
Thanks for stopping by! Please check back tomorrow for Day 3’s project!
It’s finally here! The new Stampin’ Up! 2018-2019 Annual Catalog goes live for ordering TODAY! Just a couple of things you need to know:
Ordering will not be open until NOON Mountain Time (that’s 2:00 pm for us East Coast folks!) This is so that Stampin’ Up! can have time to switch over the ordering system from the old catalog to the new one.
Once ordering IS open, ANYTHING from the new catalog may be ordered EXCEPT any Stampin’ Blends Markers in NEW colors only, and the Big Day Planner Kit and Refill. All of the previously released Stampin’ Blends colors will be available again beginning June 1st. However, there are a bunch of new colors shown in the new catalog that will not be available in the Stampin’ Blends until sometime mid-June. Stampin’ Up! is working to get these new colors into your hands ASAP, so please check back for updates, and as soon as I know anything, I will let you know!
You can now view a PDF of the new catalog right on your computer! Click HERE to view/download, or click the image of the catalog on the righthand side of my blog!
Otherwise, happy shopping! Let me know if you have any questions or need anything!
