Does anyone else feel like the week flies by? Every time I sit down to do my weekly post for 3D Thursday, I feel like I just did the previous week’s. Maybe it’s just because we’ve all been stuck at home for a month and I’m going a little stir crazy! 🙂
Today, we have Guest Designer Sherri Everett Bishop joining us! Sherri is a demonstrator friend of mine from Maine, and she has created this fun Mug Mix Treat Holder. If you’re not familiar with mug mix, it’s a single serving cake or other dessert mix that you add to a mug, add a couple of simple ingredients, and then pop in the microwave for a minute or so. They are PERFECT when you are craving something sweet but don’t have the time (or the willpower) to make a whole cake/pan of brownies/sheet of cookies!
Here’s what Sherri has created for us today:
Here’s a peek at the inside:
The package of mug mix nests right in the little insert she has created on the inside, and then the bottom folds up and ties with a bow to hold everything together. What a great design and a great way to send someone a sweet treat!
Here’s a close up of the greeting and design on the front:
Wouldn’t the front of Sherri’s project also make a beautiful card? I think so!
This project features products from the NEW Ornate Garden Suite, which is available now in the online store, and is also one of the many new gorgeous suites available in the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! (Which I got to see yesterday and you are going to LOVE!)
If you would like to make this project yourself, you can download Sherri’s FREE project sheet HERE or by clicking on the image below. There are so many fun ways you can make these, just by switching up the colors and paper!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!
Easter is right around the corner, and though it may look different this year due to COVID-19, there is still reason to celebrate! Wendy Lee created a cheery Easter themed Matchbook Treat Holder for this week’s project. She used products from the NEW Ornate Garden Suite, which can now be found in the online store! Take a look at her super cute project:
Isn’t this just so cute? This would totally brighten someone’s day! I love the colors, and the bunny is so sweet and cheery. I’m sure we could all use a little extra cheer right now!
Wendy’s project was created using the NEW Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper, as well as the Welcome Easter stamp set. The Ornate Garden Suite is an early release from the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, and includes stamps, paper, embellishments, and more, in beautiful, colorful floral patterns and designs! Check out the entire suite HERE. This suite is sure to be a favorite from the new catalog!

Thank you so much for visiting today! Please stay healthy and well, and have a Happy and Blessed Easter!
For this week’s 3D Thursday project, Sarah Wills has created this fabulous hand sanitizer holder for Bath & Body Works PocketBac hand sanitizers! She used items from the NEW Ornate Garden Suite to create this project, which is now available for preorder in the online store!
Take a look at what she has created:
These would make a perfect gift for school food service workers, healthcare workers, grocery and retail workers, mail carriers, or anyone else who is an essential worker during this time. It’s just a little way to say thank you, while also giving them a little something to help keep them healthy. Sarah mentioned that she made a bunch of these and will give them out to workers at her local grocery store. How awesome is that?
This project could easily be adapted to match the colors on any bottle of hand sanitizer by switching up the paper and colors used. You can find complete instructions HERE or by clicking the image of Sarah’s project sheet below:
I hope you have enjoyed this week’s project! Next week, I will be back with another fun 3D Thursday project, as well as a new Color Fusers project on Monday!
Stay safe and healthy!
Today we have Guest Designer Michele Wright joining us for 3D Thursday, and she has created this adorable Easter themed treat box!
I just love the cute lamb and bright colors on her project! Michele used the Welcome Easter stamp set and the Pleased as Punch Designer Series paper, along with various other tools and embellishments. Who wouldn’t love to get a sweet Easter treat wrapped in such a fun, colorful box?

Happy Thursday! My post is late today due to my 5 year old being sick. He’s been running a temp for two days now, and is absolutely miserable. I HATE when my kids are sick. I apologize for not having this up earlier!
Sarah Wills is this week’s designer and she has created this super cute chocolate square holder. It is designed to perfectly hold three Ghiardelli chocolate squares (my favorite!) She designed her project using items for Valentine’s Day, but this could very easily be used for any occasion just by switching up the colors, papers, and sentiment!
Isn’t this such a sweet project? It would make a perfect little gift for school kids, coworkers, or anyone you just want to wish a sweet Happy Valentine’s Day to! You can download Sarah’s FREE project sheet HERE (or click on the image below)!
Sorry for the super short post today, but I’ve got my hands fiull with my little guy. I will be back soon with a new project and post!
Have a great day!
Aloha from Connecticut! How I wish we were having beautiful, tropical weather, but unfortunately, it’s cold and rainy here. YUCK. For 3D Thursday this week, we have Guest Designer Cathy Williams joining us! Cathy is a demonstrator from California, and she has created this beautiful tropical themed gift box using items from the NEW Tropical Oasis Suite! The new suite can be viewed on pages 38-40 of the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog, or you can view the entire suite online HERE.
Here’s a few additional pictures of her gorgeous project!
This would be such a great project to make for someone who is planning a trip to Hawaii, or for favors for a Hawaiian/Tropical themed party or wedding!

These little boxes are one of my favorite items to make treats for any holiday! The boxes are the perfect size to use for favors, place holders at holiday dinner tables, and small gifts for teachers and staff at your local school!
They are so easy to use and can be filled with your choice of so many different things!
These are super easy to make:
- Assemble the box according to package directions.
- Fill with your choice of candy or other small gift.
- Close up the box and wrap a 1 x 9 inch strip of DSP of your choice around the entire box and secure with strong adhesive. (For mine, I used Tear & Tape Adhesive).
- Make a tag for the top, add a sentiment, a bow, and a star embellishment, and you’re good to go!
For these, I used Hershey’s Miniature candy bars. Ten of them fit in the boxes perfectly! I also used mini metallic bows that were purchased at WalMart. I added the little tag and they were done!
The Tiny Treat Boxes are available in a pack of 16 for $7.50 and are a super versatile item to have on hand when you want to make a quick gift for someone!
Thanks for checking in!
