Fun and Fruity Tags

Happy New Year, Everyone!  Hope you have a great day today celebrating!  I made these adorable tags in November at OnStage. I love the fun colors and teeny tiny fruit!  These tags use items from the new Tutti Frutti suite in the Occasions Catalog.  The stamps and punches are from the Fruit Basket Bundle, which contains the 25 piece Fruit Basket Photopolymer stamp set, as well as four coordinating mini punches.  Use the punches to punch a tiny pear, pineapple, strawberry, or fruit slice!  For these, we used the pineapple and pear, which each measure just about 1/2 inch tall.  Here’s a peek at the complete bundle:

Of course, the stamps and punches can be purchased separately as well, but purchasing them together as a bundle will save you 10%!

These tags also use the new Tutti Frutti 6×6 Designer Series Paper and a new ribbon called Lemon Lime Twist 3/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon.

I LOVE the color palette in this suite!  It reminds me of sunshine and warmth, which I could definitely use some of right now!  (As I write this, it is -1 degree where I live!)  Here’s a peek at the colors in the suite:

To see the complete Tutti Fruity Suite, please check out pages 28-29 in the Occasions Catalog.  Don’t have one?  Contact me, and I would be happy to send one out to you!
Enjoy your day!  And again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Bubble Over Bundle OnStage Card

Yesterday, I was unable to post because we were having some technical difficulties!  Hopefully, the issues have been resolved!  I had planned to show this card yesterday, but will have to show it today instead!

So here’s a bright, colorful, FUN card that I made in November using new Occasions products!  It features items from the new Bubble Over Bundle.  This bundle includes a 17 piece photopolymer stamp set called Bubble Over, as well as a 19 piece cutting die set called Bottles & Bubbles Framelits.  Of course, both items are available separately, but you can save 10% by purchasing them together as the bundle!  This card also features a coordinating FREE Sale-a-Bration item, available only with a purchase of $50 or more (before tax and shipping).  That item is the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper, and can be found on page 13 of the Sale-a-Bration brochure!  Here’s a closer look at the new products:

Bubble Over Bundle

This bundle includes both the stamp set and coordinating dies shown above!  The stamp set is photopolymer.  As mentioned above, both items are available separately as well, but if you want both, you can save 10% by purchasing the bundle!

Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper

This paper is only available with a $50 purchase (before tax and shipping)!  It contains 12 fun prints that coordinate perfectly with the Bubble Over Bundle!  Colors include Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, and Whisper White.

Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes

These are sure to be one of my favorite new embellishments!  There are 176 adhesive backed accents in both teardrop and circle shapes.  Some are clear and others are clear with a hint of glitter!  These were used on the card above to make little bubbles coming out of the top of the bottle.  Here’s a closeup:

Isn’t this such a cute card?  Don’t forget, all new Occasions products are available starting January 3rd!

Thanks for checking in today!

Introducing the NEW Petal Passion Suite!

Today I have a project that I created when I went to OnStage in Salt Lake City in November!  It uses products from the Petal Passion Suite, which is one of seven new suites in the 2018 Occasions Catalog!  This card features four new products from the suite.  They are the Petal Palette stamp set, Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, Whisper White 1/4 inch Organza Ribbon, and Petal Passion Embellishments.  All of these products will be available beginning January 3rd when the Occasions Catalog goes live!

Here’s a closer look at each of the new products used on this card:

Petal Palette Stamp Set

The Petal Palette stamp set contains 15 rubber stamps, and is available in both Clear Mount and Wood Mount.  There are also coordinating cutting dies available for this set (not shown).  The stamps and dies will be available separately or together as a bundle when the catalog goes live.  The bundle will save you 10% over the price of both individually!

Petal Passion Designer Series Paper

I love the new Petal Passion DSP!  There are twelve different black and white designs that look gorgeous as is OR with added color from any one of Stampin’ Up’s many coloring products!  If I remember corrrectly, we used a Stampin’ Write Marker to color in some of the flowers at OnStage.  I can’t wait to use this paper in more projects!

Petal Passion Embellishments

I LOVE these adorable silver embellishments!  They come in a package of 24, and you get 12 each of two designs. There is the flower that was used on the card, as well as leaves.  The original sample at OnStage used the leaves, but I switched them out for the flower!  I am sure I will be using a lot of these on future projects!

Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon

This ribbon is super versatile. The size and color makes it perfect for use on almost any project!  The ribbon is 1/4 inch wide and comes 10 yards to a roll.  I have a feeling I will be using a lot of this as well!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this first sneak peek at new Occasions products.  They will all be available starting January 3rd!

Enjoy your day, and please check back tomorrow for another fun Occasions project!

It’s Almost Time for Occasions and Sale-a-Bration!

Occasions Catalogs and Sale-a-Bration brochures are in the mail and should be arriving in customers’ mailboxes sometime next week!  Both contain amazing new products that you are all going to LOVE!  The colors and designs of some of the new items are simply beautiful and are sure to brighten those dull, dreary days of winter! (Those of us in cold, snowy climates definitely could use a boost some days, right?!)

One of my favorite products for any project is Designer Series Paper!  Adding patterned paper to a project can really make it pop, whether it’s a card, gift box, tag, or well, anything really!  And there are some beautiful new Designer Series Papers available in the both the Occasions Catalog, as well as the Sale-a-Bration brochure.  (So YES, there is actually a new paper that you can earn for FREE with a qualifying purchase!  And it’s bright and colorful and FUN!)

Today, I would like to share with you a video that gives a sneak peek at ALL of the new papers available in the new Occasions Catalog.  (Unfortunately, the new Sale-a-Bration paper is NOT shown.  You’ll have to wait until you get your Sale-a-Bration brochure to get a look at that one.)  Enjoy!

Aren’t they just gorgeous?  I cannot wait to start making new projects with these!  All of these will be available for purchase starting January 3rd in the online store.  I hope you like them as much as I do! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Seasonal Chums Snowman Card

It’s just not the holiday season without at least one snowman card!  This cute little snowman was stamped and cut using the Seasonal Chums bundle.  The bundle includes an 8 piece stamp set, available in both clear mount or wood mount, as well as a set of 10 coordinating cutting dies.  The images include a jack o’ lantern, reindeer, and this little guy, along with some coordinating sentiment and tag making stamps.  The stamps in this set have both a front and back image, so that you can create fold over tag toppers, which are perfect for holiday treats!  While the BUNDLE is retiring, the stamps and dies are not, meaning that after the holiday catalog retires, you can still get them, just not at the bundle pricing. So if you love this set, get it while you can at 10% savings!  (Available until January 2nd!)

Other products I used on this card include Quilted Christmas 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, Metallic Doilies, the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and Star of Light stamp set for the sentiment.  I used Stampin’ Write markers to color the snowman, and adhered him to the card with dimensionals for a little added texture.  You can find the complete project list below!

I am sad to say that this will be my last Christmas/holiday project for the year.  I love making Christmas crafts, but it is time to move on to Occasions and Sale-a-Bration projects!  Starting tomorrow, I will have new and exciting projects and catalog info to share!  I hope you’ll check back soon!

Enjoy your day!

Be Merry Christmas Scrapbook Page and Last Day to Order for Christmas Delivery

Got a phone call at 5:10 am that my son’s school has a two hour delay today.  Nothing like being woken up by the phone ringing at such an early hour!  Now I am praying to the snow gods that my boys sleep in this morning.  🙂  Today’s project is something I haven’t done in ages: an actual, good old fashioned 12 x 12 scrapbook page!  I love scrapbooking, but with two small kids and most of my craft stuff packed in boxes and piled into a cabinet while my house is being finished, I don’t have a lot of time for it right now!  When I do have time, I have been doing pocket scrapbooking.  The pre-laid out pages and pre-printed cards make it so easy to put together gorgeous pages with very little effort.  And if you don’t like the finished product, you can just switch things around or swap in different cards until you get it just right!  Stampin’ Up’s pocket scrapboking system is called Memories and More, and you can learn more about it here.

But for today, let’s talk about traditional scrapbooking!  I created this page the other day to showcase my boys’ Christmas pictures.  I used the Be Merry Designer Series Paper as the background, stamped the letters and numbers with the Letters for You and Large Numbers stamp sets in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green, then cut them all out with the coordinating framelits.  (Large Letters and Large Numbers Framelits).  I layered the photos with Garden Green cardstock, and embellished with some snowflakes cut from Silver Glimmer Paper.  The dies I used for the snowflakes are from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  And there’s one little silver glimmer swirl from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits as well!

While Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive tend to be my go to red/green combo for Christmas, I love the Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green together as well!  I also love the weathered look of the letters and numbers.  The stamps in the Letters for You and Number of Years sets are designed to look that way, and I think it adds a nice touch!

This whole page took me about an hour to put together. I could have dressed it up a lot more by adding more layers or embellishments, but I wanted to keep it simple!

Also, don’t forget TODAY is the last day to order for on time Christmas delivery!  Click here to visit the online store and get the perfect gifts for your crafty friends!  (And be sure to pick something up for yourself as well!)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Good Tidings Christmas Card

Christmas projects are winding down!  I have a few more to share this week and then I will be switching over to Occasions projects as soon as I have time to make some!  Here is another music themed card made with the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I also used the Good Tidings stamp set for the sentiment, which I layered with Cherry Cobbler cardstock and a Delicate White Doily.  The Cherry Cobbler scalloped circle was cut using the Layering Circles Framelits, ans the holly and berries accent was fussy cut with Paper Snips. Both the Merry Music paper and the Good Tidings stamp set are retiring January 2nd, but they are still available while supplies last!  Colors for this card are Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Whisper White, and Basic Black:

Sorry for the super short post, but have to get my boys off to school!  Have a nice day!  🙂

Watercolor Christmas Card and FREE SHIPPING Today ONLY!

My card today is recreated from one I found on Pinterest by Pam Staples.  I loved it so much that I pretty much copied it exactly, with the exception of the size, opening, and one item she used that I didn’t.  Usually when I CASE a design that I find on online, I try to change it up to make it my own, but this one I thought was perfect as is!  The only differences between hers and my version are that her original card was square and opened like a tent, and had silver metallic thread behind the sentiment.  I kept mine a standard size card (5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inches) that opened left to right, and did not use the metallic thread, but honestly, I didn’t use it only because I was out and didn’t have any!  I love the bright red and white contrasted with the silver foil of the snowflakes and stars.  And you already know how much I LOVE the Watercolor Christmas stamp set!  I am SO sad that it is retiring!

I am grateful every day that so many talented crafters share their work with the rest of us, so that we can be inspired and get ideas with just a few clicks of the keyboard!  This card was one of many that I made for my son’s school Christmas Bazaar, and I love its clean and simple design.  I needed a bunch of different cards FAST, and Pinterest was a life saver the week I made them!   Thank you to Pam and the many other demonstrators and crafters that I borrowed ideas from this year!  🙂

And don’t forget, Stampin’ Up! is offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders today!  Combine that with the year end sale and you could save a bunch of money!  But the free shipping offer ends tonight at 11:59 pm MT, so don’t wait too long or you might miss out!

Thanks for checking in today!  Have a great day!

Paper Pumpkin Inspired Christmas Card

Today’s card was inspired by an alternate Paper Pumpkin project I saw in a Facebook video a couple of weeks ago!  Paper Pumpkin is Stampin’ Up’s monthly subscription service where a fully designed, pre-cut project arrives right at your front door with everything you need to create it.  This year, both October and November’s kit featured beautiful plaid designs!  October’s kit featured shaker cards in green plaid, and November’s kit featured adorable stockings in white plaid.  Here’s a peek at both October’s and November’s kits:

A few weeks back, some of the Stampin’ Up! staff did a Facebook live event where they featured some alternate projects using the kits.  The card I made above is based on one the cards that they featured in that video, so I can’t take full credit for this card!  I did switch up a few things though, such as using the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper instead of the Paper Pumpkin card base, and adding the little star from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.

I really love the Paper Pumpkin kits!  Every month there are lots of materials left over so you can use them to create even more fun projects!  Why not give Paper Pumpkin a try?  There are two ways to subscribe:

  1. Visit the Paper Pumpkin website to become a month to month customer.  You simply enter your info, provide a credit card for payment, and Stampin’ Up! will ship a new kit to you each month until you tell them otherwise.  You may suspend, cancel, or adjust the quantity of kits at any time.  To visit the Paper Pumpkin website, please click here.
  2. Purchase a prepaid subscription in the Online Store.  Prepaid subscriptions can be purchased in 1, 3, 6 or 12 month increments, and are ordered just like a catalog item!  You simply enter the code that is emailed to you on the Paper Pumpkin site and Stampin’ Up! takes care of the rest!  You can renew your subscription as often as you like by purchasing a new subscription in the Online Store.  The best part of prepaid subscriptions is that you can add them to other items in your shopping bag to earn Stampin’ Rewards!  Prepaid subscriptions also make a great gift!  To visit the Paper Pumpkin page in the Stampin’ Up! online store, please click here.

Sometimes you just want to be crafty without having to put too much thought into designing.  Paper Pumpkin is the perfect solution!

Cookie Cutter Reindeer Christmas Card

Here’s a fun card that features the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set!  This little reindeer is so cute!  He’s stamped on and cut from Crumb Cake cardstock and set against a backdrop of stripes from the Be Merry Designer Series Paper.  He was cut out using the coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  The Season’s Greetings sentiment is from the retiring Cheers to the Year stamp set, and the final accent is a tiny silver star from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.  (I’m starting to notice that I use those A LOT!!!)  This card was quick and easy to make, and I love the way it came out!  Hope you do too!

Don’t forget, the Year End Sales Event is still happening in the online store!  Lots of great prices on select current and retiring item while supplies last!  To check out the sale, please click here!

Thanks for checking in today!  Have a great day!
