Twila Davis is our designer this week for 3D Thursday! She has created this sweet Fourth of July themed hanging decor, using one of the NEW Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes and various ribbons and trims! Such a fun, easy idea!
The Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes are a NEW item in this year’s Annual Catalog. They come in a pack of 10 for $7.50. They have a nice matte finish, so you can decorate them with paper and embellishments OR you can easily apply ink. Twila did both for this project!

It’s my turn to create for 3D Thursday, and I have created a way to dress up seed packets for weddings, showers, and more! I was looking for something on Etsy last week, and a bunch of customized seed packet envelopes came up, which I thought was a great idea. So of course, I had to try to create one of my own. What do you think?
I’m really happy with how it came out. I used a bunch of NEW products from the new Annual Catalog, which just went live YESTERDAY! The envelope is made from the new In Good Taste Designer Series Paper; the belly band is made from Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper; the sunflower was made using the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle; and it also features one of our new In Colors for 2020-2022: Bumblebee!
The envelope was designed to be opened and closed without having to be sealed. I did not seal the flap on the envelope intentionally, so that it could be opened and closed without tearing. The belly band holds it closed when it’s on, which can easily be slipped on and off as needed. I included a packet of sunflower seeds to go with the sunflower theme of the project, but we have so many pretty flower stamps and dies in the new catalog, I can imagine making these with other types of flowers and seeds as well!
The measurements of my final project are as follows:
Finished envelope: 3-1/2 x 5-3/8 inches
Belly band: 3-9/16 across x 3-1/2 inches tall (just the front dimensions)
Sunflower: Approximately 3-1/4 inches in diameter
Sentiment piece: 3/4 x 3 inches

I hope you have enjoyed my project! Thank you so much for stopping by!
It’s Sarah Wills’ turn to create for this week’s 3D Thursday, and she has created this sweet gift card holder using products from the NEW Annual Catalog!
Gift cards are a great gift, but it’s nice to dress them up in pretty packaging! Sarah’s project does just that, and can be made for any occasion. Here’s a few more pictures of Sarah’s project:
Sarah’s project features new products and colors from the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual catalog, including the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper and my new favorite yellow: Bumblebee!

This week’s 3D Thursday project was created by Guest Designer France Martin, affectionately known to many of us as “Frenchie”! Her project is not only adorable, but is also functional and stylish for card makers who wish to keep their cards neatly organized and accessible. Check it out:
It’s a magazine holder style holder for cards! You could make as many as you want, label them by occasion, and line them up neatly on a shelf to keep your cards close at hand. Right now, all of MY cards are mixed together in bins. Organizing them this way is definitely on my list of things to do, probably this summer when all the craziness with distance learning finally slows down!
Frenchie has provided us with step by step instructions on her FREE project sheet, available HERE, or by clicking on the image below. You can make these fit your own personality and space by using your favorite colors, sentiments, and papers! I can’t wait to make some of my own!
Thank you to Frenchie for joining is today and thank YOU for visiting! I’ll be back next week with a new project!
Have a great day!
Today, we have Guest Designer Sara Levin joining us for 3D Thursday! She has created this super cute mini purse using items from the Ornate Garden and Best Dressed suites!
I love the look of the gold foil against the Mint Macaron background. This would be such a cute container for bridal shower favors or treats, or for a princess themed party for little ones! You can find full instructions and a supply list on Sara’s FREE project sheet. Click HERE to download, or click on the image below:
Such a cute, fun project!
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day! 🙂
Happy Thursday, everybody! It’s my turn to create for 3D Thursday, and I have put together a very simple, but fun project for today! A few weeks ago, Stampin’ Up! CEO Sara Douglass posted a Box of Sunshine that she had created for the staff at Stampin’ Up! It was a large box full of small treats and gifts that were all yellow in color. She said that she brought it in for them to brighten their day and “Share Sunshine”. Honestly, who couldn’t use a little pick me up with all the craziness happening right now? So my project was inspired by her idea! Take a look:
I wanted to do something similar, but on a smaller, more portable scale. I used the Acetate Card Boxes and filled them with yellow treats, as well as a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card. They are the perfect size to give to one person! Here’s a close up of what I put inside:
Everything was ordered from Amazon, except the gift card. I picked up a bunch of those at my local Dunkin’ Donuts. For Stampin’ Up! products other than the card box, I used the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper for the belly band, the You Always Deliver stamp set for the sentiment, and Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon for the wrap and bow. It was SO simple and fun to put this together, and will be even more fun to give!

Thanks for checking in today! Next Monday, I will be hopping with the Color Fusers team, so please check back on Monday AND Thursday for new posts and projects!
Have a great day, (hopefully) filled with sunshine!
Does anyone else feel like the week flies by? Every time I sit down to do my weekly post for 3D Thursday, I feel like I just did the previous week’s. Maybe it’s just because we’ve all been stuck at home for a month and I’m going a little stir crazy! 🙂
Today, we have Guest Designer Sherri Everett Bishop joining us! Sherri is a demonstrator friend of mine from Maine, and she has created this fun Mug Mix Treat Holder. If you’re not familiar with mug mix, it’s a single serving cake or other dessert mix that you add to a mug, add a couple of simple ingredients, and then pop in the microwave for a minute or so. They are PERFECT when you are craving something sweet but don’t have the time (or the willpower) to make a whole cake/pan of brownies/sheet of cookies!
Here’s what Sherri has created for us today:
Here’s a peek at the inside:
The package of mug mix nests right in the little insert she has created on the inside, and then the bottom folds up and ties with a bow to hold everything together. What a great design and a great way to send someone a sweet treat!
Here’s a close up of the greeting and design on the front:
Wouldn’t the front of Sherri’s project also make a beautiful card? I think so!
This project features products from the NEW Ornate Garden Suite, which is available now in the online store, and is also one of the many new gorgeous suites available in the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! (Which I got to see yesterday and you are going to LOVE!)
If you would like to make this project yourself, you can download Sherri’s FREE project sheet HERE or by clicking on the image below. There are so many fun ways you can make these, just by switching up the colors and paper!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!
Easter is right around the corner, and though it may look different this year due to COVID-19, there is still reason to celebrate! Wendy Lee created a cheery Easter themed Matchbook Treat Holder for this week’s project. She used products from the NEW Ornate Garden Suite, which can now be found in the online store! Take a look at her super cute project:
Isn’t this just so cute? This would totally brighten someone’s day! I love the colors, and the bunny is so sweet and cheery. I’m sure we could all use a little extra cheer right now!
Wendy’s project was created using the NEW Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper, as well as the Welcome Easter stamp set. The Ornate Garden Suite is an early release from the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, and includes stamps, paper, embellishments, and more, in beautiful, colorful floral patterns and designs! Check out the entire suite HERE. This suite is sure to be a favorite from the new catalog!
If you would like to make your own version of Wendy’s treat holders, you can download her FREE project sheet HERE or by clicking on the image just below. Her project sheet contains full color, step by step instructions, as well as a complete supply list!
Thank you so much for visiting today! Please stay healthy and well, and have a Happy and Blessed Easter!
For this week’s 3D Thursday project, Sarah Wills has created this fabulous hand sanitizer holder for Bath & Body Works PocketBac hand sanitizers! She used items from the NEW Ornate Garden Suite to create this project, which is now available for preorder in the online store!
Take a look at what she has created:
These would make a perfect gift for school food service workers, healthcare workers, grocery and retail workers, mail carriers, or anyone else who is an essential worker during this time. It’s just a little way to say thank you, while also giving them a little something to help keep them healthy. Sarah mentioned that she made a bunch of these and will give them out to workers at her local grocery store. How awesome is that?
This project could easily be adapted to match the colors on any bottle of hand sanitizer by switching up the paper and colors used. You can find complete instructions HERE or by clicking the image of Sarah’s project sheet below:
I hope you have enjoyed this week’s project! Next week, I will be back with another fun 3D Thursday project, as well as a new Color Fusers project on Monday!
Stay safe and healthy!
Today we have Guest Designer Michele Wright joining us for 3D Thursday, and she has created this adorable Easter themed treat box!
I just love the cute lamb and bright colors on her project! Michele used the Welcome Easter stamp set and the Pleased as Punch Designer Series paper, along with various other tools and embellishments. Who wouldn’t love to get a sweet Easter treat wrapped in such a fun, colorful box?
You can print Michele’s full instructions and supply list for this project by clicking HERE, or on the image below. These would be a perfect little gift to brighten someone’s day and let them know you’re thinking of them at Easter!
Thank you to Michele for joining us today, and thanks to YOU for visiting today! Please check back soon for another fun 3D Design Team project!
