Tea Room Friendship Card

One of my favorite designer series papers in this year’s catalog is the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper!  This paper has a great selection of beautiful patterns including flowers, bees, butterflies, and more.  And the colors are just gorgeous!  The pattern I used for today’s card is a mix of flowers, leaves, and butterflies, and is printed in shades of Crushed Curry.  I decided to pair the paper with Basic Gray, as I love the combination of yellow, gray, and white (though in this case, it’s Crushed Curry, Basic Gray, and Very Vanilla!)

The sentiment is from the Time for Tea photopolymer stamp set, and the scalloped layer behind the sentiment is from the Spot of Tea Framelits dies.  The paper, stamps, framelits, and the ribbon I used are all from the NEW Tea Room Suite!  The full suite of products can be found on pages 14-15 in the annual catalog, or you can view them HERE.

Besides the Tea Room ribbon, I embellished this card with some vellum leaves.  Some were cut with the Leaf Punch, and others were cut using a die from the Bouquet Bunch Framelits.  I also added some copper leaves from the Leaves Trinkets embellishments, as well as a couple of Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to finish it off!  Here’s a close up of the embellishments on and around the sentiment piece:

Measurements for this card are as follows:

Basic Gray card base:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)

Crushed Curry middle layer:  4 x 5-1/4 inches

DSP top layer: 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 inches

Basic Gray sentiment backing layer: 2-3/4 inches in diameter (approximately)

Very Vanilla sentiment piece:  2-1/4 inches in diameter

Vellum pieces for leaves: 1-3/4 x 2 inches (approximately)

You can find all of the products used on this card in the links below!

My Final OnStage Display Board Project!

My final display board project is actually very similar to the very first project I shared using items from the new Annual Catalog!  If you remember, I made a mini pizza box using the Love What You Do stamp set.  I even used most of the same colors as on this card!  Here’s a pic of the project I am referring to if you’d like to take a look:

Both projects use many of the same products, including the Love What You Do stamp set, the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, the Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends, and the Tea Room ribbon!  However, on today’s project, the sentiment is not heat embossed, but rather stamped in Soft Suede ink, and framed by an outline stamp and framelit from the Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden Thinlits Dies (which are retiring May 31st.)  The ribbon is also tied in a bow for the card!

I really love the color palette for this card!  The colors that were used are as follows:

And of course, Very Vanilla is used as the base neutral in this project as well (even though it’s not shown above!)

The measurements for this card are as follows:
Crumb Cake card base:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 (scored at 4-1/4 inches and folded in half)
Very Vanilla middle layer:  3-3/4 x 5 inches
Wood Textures DSP top layer:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8 inches
Very Vanilla Stitched Shapes Circle:  3-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches
Very Vanilla sentiment piece:  2 x 3 inches

This card was embellished with the NEW Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack, as well as a few Pearl Basic Jewels that have been colored with an Ivory Stampin’ Blends Marker.  The ribbon will be available June 1st and comes in pack of two colors: Very Vanilla and Coastal Cabana.  The ribbon is 1/8 inch wide, and has beautiful Copper edging, which you can see nicely in the picture directly above!

So that’s it for my OnStage Display Board samples.  I hope you have enjoyed what I have created!  Don’t forget, the Love What You Do stamp set is available NOW to order as part of the Share What You Love Early Release, now through May 31st!  Click HERE to go to the early release section of the online store!

If you have any questions regarding this, or any other project I’ve shared, please feel free to ask!  🙂

Sitting, Thinking, Missing You with the Sitting Pretty Stamp Set

Today’s card was made with the NEW Sitting Pretty stamp set!  It features a potted plant and a sweet sentiment, all from the same stamp set.  It also features the NEW Subtle 3D Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder, also available in the upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalog!  (I’ll show a close up of this in a bit!)

This card uses Very Vanilla as the base neutral, along with Always Artichoke, Perfect Plum, and Copper accents.  I used the 1/4″ Copper Trim for the bow, and two brushed copper brads from a NEW assortment of metallic brads, also available in the new catalog.

The measurements for this card are as follows:

Always Artichoke card base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches (scored at 4-1/4 and folded in half)

Very Vanilla base layer:  4 x 5-1/4 inches

Small Always Artichoke panel:  3-1/8 x 3-7/8 inches

Very Vanilla top layer:  3 x 3/4 inches

Here is a close up of the new Subtle embossing folder’s design:

This stamp set will be available June 1st!  Although I did not have them for OnStage, there are coordinating framelits for this set called the Pretty Park Framelits Dies.  Both the stamp set and the framelits will be available as a bundle in the new catalog, for a savings of 10%!

Copper Tea Tin and Mini Note Card Set

My project today features items from a NEW suite of products called the Tea Room Suite!  All products in this suite will be available starting June 1st when the NEW 2018-2019 Annual Catalog goes live.  For this project, I used four products from the suite: Copper Tea Tins, Tea Room Copper Vinyl Stickers, Tea Room Ribbon, and Spot of Tea Framelits Dies.  There is also a coordinating stamp set, Designer Series Paper, and a Memories and More Card Pack in the suite!

For this project, I decided to keep it simple and do a coordinating set of three mini notecards with envelopes.  The tins measure 3-3/4 x 3-5/8 x 2-1/4 inches in size, making them the perfect size for holding 3 x 3 inch note cards and envelopes!

I wrapped the tin with a piece of Vellum, and then wrapped a piece of the Tea Room Ribbon around it as well.  I cut a doily from Fresh Fig cardstock using the Spot of Tea Framlits Dies and my Big Shot, then applied one of the stickers from the Tea Room Copper Vinyl Stickers.  I cut a 1-1/2 inch circle from the vellum as well, then applied the butterfly sticker.

Inside the tin are three mini notecards.  I used sentiments from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set for each card!  I used the same ribbon as on the outside of the tin, and used both of the doily dies from the Spot of Tea Framelits, one in Fresh Fig and the other in Whisper White.  I LOVE mini note cards, as they are the perfect size to tuck into gift bags, lunchboxes, or coworkers mail boxes!  You can also punch a small hole in the corner, thread some ribbon or twine through the hole, and use as a gift tag.  I kept all three cards exactly the same except for the sentiment and the sticker on the envelope:

I really love the combination of Fresh Fig and Copper.  I think it’s a really pretty color combination!

All of the items from the Tea Room Suite will be available June 1st.  When you receive your new catalog, you can find the suite on pages 14 and 15.  Need a demonstrator?  I would love to help you with whatever you need!  Please feel free to contact me anytime, or visit my online store to shop!

Although most of the products used on this project are not available just yet, there are still lots of fantastic products available NOW! Click the image below to shop current products, and don’t forget to check out the last chance products section!  All products in there are retiring, and are only available until May 31st or while supplies last.  Some products have started selling out already, so be sure to stock up on your retiring favorites before they are gone for good!

Thanks for visiting today!  Enjoy your day!

Copper Foil Wedding Card with Flourish Thinlits

Weddings usually call for something a little more elegant than your average, everyday card.  There are a few different ways that you can step up the wow factor, while still keeping things simple!  For this card, I used a combination of Shimmery White Cardstock, Copper Foil Sheets, and glittery Embossing Paste to make this card more elegant!

First, I used Shimmery White Cardstock to make both the card base and top layer of this card. Next, I mixed some Dazzling Diamonds glitter into a small amount of Embossing Paste and applied to the top layer using Palette Knives and the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. The Embossing Paste does takes a bit of time to dry, so I set the top layer aside while I worked on the rest of the card.

I used my Big Shot and Flourish Thinlits to cut the large flourish from Copper Foil Sheets.  I stamped the “Side by Side” sentiment, which is from the Beautiful Bouquet Photopolymer stamp set, in Basic Black Archival Ink, just below the bottom edge of the Embossing Paste. I adhered the flourish using Multipurpose Glue. Once the top layer was fully completed, I adhered it to the base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the Dimensionals gives the card added detail to step it up a bit a more!
