It’s back to school time! Which means it’s back to making our local teachers and staff feel appreciated! To start off this school year on a positive note, our PTO put together these Teacher Survival Kits for the teachers at my son’s school. We did some research both on Pinterest, as well as talking to actual teachers about what they would like in such a gift. If you go on Pinterest, there are many examples of these types of gifts. However, we were told that teachers don’t want anything “cute”. They want things that are useful. And we certainly don’t want to spend money on things that will not get used! And we DID use some Stampin’ Up! products on it, so I am sharing it here on my blog as well! 🙂
Here is a list of what we included:
- Hand sanitizer
- Mini Hershey Bar
- M & M’s
- Life Savers
- Tic Tacs
- Starbucks Via Instant Coffee Drink
We also included a poem about working together as parents and teachers:
We distributed them to our teachers today and they were a huge hit! This was definitely a fun gift to help create!
(If we made them again, we would probably also include chap stick and tums! Maybe next year!)
I hope you’ve enjoyed my project today! Thanks for checking in!
