3D Thursday: Thanksgiving Pillow Box Place “card” project

It’s my turn to create for 3D Thursday! This year, I am hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my house, so I wanted to make something that I could use to decorate my dinner table. I came up with these decorated pillow boxes that I can place on each place setting to indicate where everyone will sit at dinner. I am having 10 people and it’s my first big holiday gathering in my new house, so I am super excited! Here’s my project:

These were SO easy to create! Each one is a Kraft Pillow Box with a one inch band of Designer Series Paper wrapped around it. I used dies from the Gathered Leaves Dies to cut leaves from Cajun Craze, Merry Merlot, and Pear Pizzazz cardstock, as well as two Vellum sprigs using the Sprig Punch. I stamped each name using the Make a Difference stamp set, punched the the Darling Label Punch, adhered everything together and applied it to the box! Super simple! Now, I just have to fill them with something sweet (I’m thinking Ghiardelli chocolate squares) and they will be ready to go on Thanksgiving Day!

You can download a FREE project sheet with step by step instrucutions, as well as a complete supply list, HERE. (Or click the image below!) There is still time to make these for your own Thanksgiving dinner table!

Here are a couple of additional images of today’s project:

For each person, I used a different pattern of DSP from the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper, however, I kept everything else exactly the same. Everything perfectly coordinates, and I can’t wait to see my whole Thanksgiving table decorated with these!

Thank you so much for visiting today! Please let me know if you have any questions!
